The Services That We Offer.
We currently offer a café service for the elderly where they can get food and have a social experience with our volunteers, as well as, talk with our health and social care students about any problems that they may have, through this they can get help. This service is available between 10 AM and 12 PM every Saturday and Sunday at the college.
We will be offering an educational service based around social media, this will include; how to be safe when using social media, how to set-up a social media account correctly, we will also be showing examples of what is "acceptable" and "unacceptable" to post on social media. This service will be available between 12 PM and 1 PM every Saturday and Sunday at the college.

A Prayer For The Elderly...
I prayed today for the elderly.
They long to hear for you to say,
words of love and words of praise
with acts of kindness they once gave.
And if you're going by their way
they'd like for you to stop and pay,
a visit where you both can say
and disregard if you may.
Before their heads they shall lay,
at night before the sun, and rain
when they bow their head and when they pray
praying that you and everyone
will be okay...
A poem by Edward Calvert.
Who Are S.R.I.S?
Hello, thank you for visiting our website. You may be wondering who we are and what we do. We're a charity that was set-up by a group of students at the City of Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College; Raheem Mahmood, Edward Calvert & Sebastian Palmer. Our aim is to help bring joy to the elderly residents of the Stoke-on-Trent area, as well as provide them with a social area that they can use to interact with other elderly people as well as our volunteers. We are also providing a meal along with our service. We are located at the College. Leek Rd, Stoke ST4 2RU. We are open on Saturdays and Sundays between 10.00AM and 12.00PM.
